Just wanted to drop a note and say what a great race you put on this weekend. I couldn't have asked for a better organized race for my first half-ironman! There's always a lot of talk about how crowded the loop bike course gets but your company and the volunteers did such a great job. I look forward to racing next year! Sally – Soma 2008

I competed in the Quarterman yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the race - thought it was extraordinarily well run, really liked the venue, and enjoyed the cool weather (cool by Yuma standards…). – Soma 2008

Just finished the SOMA Quarterman yesterday and what a great race! The course was awesome, location beautiful, and volunteers very helpful and supportive. Thanks for all the efforts of you and your crew. I will definitely (and already have) recommended this race to others and plan on doing it again next year. – Soma 2008

What a great day, you did a great job… There was just a “cool” atmosphere to the whole day… That bike course is MUCH better than the one that used Lakeview even without the construction… The run is great… The swim... Well it’s a real open water swim with all the “fun”… As race director the buck stops with you and you should feel great about the day!!! – Soma 2008

Please pass along to all responsible for the Soma this past weekend what a terrific event I thought it was. From the Saturday bike drop off/registration pickup to the end of the event, it was all soooooo.... organized. I am so impressed by the planning and execution of the event. The rules were clear, the facilities were ample, the volunteers were plentiful and extremely kind and encouraging. I can't say enough great things about this event. Congratulations on putting on a terrific show. I was exhausted but oh so glad that I participated. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to once again, be a triathlon finisher in high spirits!!!!!

OCTOBER 2007-
Please know how very impressed I was this day (my first half iron after 11 marathons and several sprint and olympic tris and coaching at marathons) with the support on the course. I had not been able to train as diligently as I would have liked and was able to make it at the very end of the day b/c everything was ideal on the course. I absolutely would not have had it to keep going without the ice and truly supportive and happy volunteers on the course. Every stop was encouraging and smiling. I tried to give that back as I went by because I know how hard it is.
The finish line announcer made me feel like a winner- he had an amazing evergy that I was grateful for.
